The role of Advertising
Advertising means that informing and controlling the public to buy products through visual communication. Advertising is used to create responsiveness in possible consumers. Some of mediums used for advertising are newspapers, magazines, bill-boards TV, radio, internet. Advertising business has grown enormously in the last years. Advertising is vast communication. Advertising is product structured through successful communication. Advertising helps to generate requirements, promotes marketing and to increase the economy. Advertising also shapes the resources of marketing.
The role of Advertising in the printed media; Some of the important print media are magazines, newspapers, billboards, posters, direct mails, and yellow pages. Print media can get the messages to large viewers, and allow productions directly targets the audience. Print media can publicize many things but not permitted for controversial ads. Promoters can target specific audience by using magazines advertising. The ads sited in the newspapers such as;  classified and display ads, printed inserts. Newspaper ads can only use restricted colors and type sizes. The ads in the magazines can be reached to the specific audience. The small businesses can easily use magazine advertising to promote their company by placing the ads in the magazines. Many small businesses also can use direct mails to target their clients. They can select their target customers by doing the list of the companies and sending out their ads and services information by direct mail. The Small business can also use the yellow pages for their ads. These ads placed in the yellow pages can target the specific customers and the area.  Small business can display all the necessary product information, services by placing the ads in the pages.
The role of Advertising on billboard and posters; Billboard is a outside advertising mainly placed in the busy road areas. Billboards are large commercial announcement to be seen by the people who are passing through. The unique images are placed on the billboards to be noticed easily and to target the specific marketing areas. Billboards are good place to advertise for big business to get easily their customers. Posters are the type of billboard advertising, placed in viable and business areas.
The role of Advertising in TV and internet; The greater part of television advertising are short advertising for few seconds or few minutes .This kind of advertising is trying to sell every kind of products to consumers. TV advertising is a huge visual impacts on the consumers. The role of  Advertising in Internet is new, but many companies using web advertising to communicate to their potential customers. Internet advertising is easy for companies to advertise their products and services. the type of advertisings are display advertising, interactive adverstising. Internet became the best advertising and marketing place for all kind of products.


 
 

Ethics of Advertising
Advertisers utilize different approach to sell the products. Using some of the approaches creates some ethical questions about the advertising. Advertising are assumed to convince the people to buy the product. Advertising main aim is to sell. Advertisers can do every kind of campaigns to get people to buy the products. Some of the strategies, they are using are not ethical and the companies telling not the truth about their products is not ethical.
Advertisers use numerous ways to get people attracted and to buy the product. The few of the tactics they are using; the product indicating that their product is better than the other products, using some of the well known people names, retailing the products that can change the people living, using  the people emotions relating to the products. Advertisers always try to sell the products and the brands; some customers can just buy the product for the brand. Advertisers mostly focus on more selling the images than the products. Advertising acts on the people feelings and sentiments and to create some circumstances that increase the customers feelings to buy the products are not ethical.
Ethical questions are, if the advertisers have right to introduce the products that are life changing, is there any responsible company telling the truth about their products to the costumers, is there any right to sell the products on using the famous peoples names and is there responsibilty of the costumers to realise their tactics and not to let them using their feelings and not to buy the products.

Good and bad advertising
The Good in advertising is that, which gives the message to communicate to large amount of people. Advertising helps to promote the sales of products and allow the companies to create their particular image in customers. Advertising also facilitate increasing their customers. Advertising boost the brand development and raise the identification of the products to the customers. Advertising helps to communication methods; for instance, newspaper,TV, internet and other mediums. Advertising do good to large number of peoples.
Good advertising is; advertisers who gives right information about the products without using any selling tactics. Good advertising examples are; environmental, like green peace, health, people, animal issues. Bad advertising is ; advertisers who promotes their products by using people emotions to sell the product or the brand. Advertisers use different convincing techniques to buy the product, some of them are not ethical. Examples of bad advertising are; some TV advertising is not good for children. Flyers advertising is the example of bad advertising. The charities which using the tactics of their advertising campaigns and the companies which using the people emotions to promote the ads in the magazines and newspapers are the examples of bad advertising.
